Can I still report a sexual assault or go to the hospital for a Sexual Assault Nurse Examination?
Yes. However, protocol continues to change and we encourage you to contact us if you are considering making a report or going to the hospital.
As of 7/17/20, Lawrence Memorial Hospital is prepared to see patients age 14+ for a SANE exam.
For cases involving children under 14, we encourage you to call The Care Center or law enforcement for more information. Law enforcement can be contacted through the follow non-emergency numbers:

How do I file a Protection Order to get information about my court date?
Courts in The Care Center’s service-area are operating under different restrictions. You can contact local law enforcement regarding a protection order petition packet. An advocate can provide you with additional information about this process and discuss temporary orders that may be granted same-day.

Can I still go to therapy or support groups?
Therapy services are still available in person or by telehealth. There may be a waitlist for new clients, but we encourage you to contact us for more information. Online support groups are hosted every Thursday at 4 p.m.
